What is the difference between cotton and flannel?
Both are made with 100% cotton, the difference is in the texture. Cotton is smooth, like a pillowcase, and flannel is fuzzy, like pajamas.
What makes fabric organic?
The fabric choices under our “organic” tab are made with 100% organic cotton, certified by the Global Textile Industry Standard (GOTS), and use low-impact dyes.
What is the difference between a pad and a liner?
Our pad sizes have greater absorbing power, with 3-6 inner layers, depending on specific size. Our pantyliner sizes all have onemenstrual inner layer of absorbent cotton, designed for light days, spotting, or as back-up to a cup or tampon.
How should I wash my cloth pads?
Wash and dry your pads like regular laundry, just avoid hot temperatures. You can even wash cloth pads WITH your other laundry (for real!).
Why are cloth pads better than disposable pads?
Disposable pads are typically filled with chemicals, dyes, perfumes, plastics, and other toxic materials. They can cost a menstruating person thousands of dollars over a lifetime, and end up in landfills or polluting oceans. Cloth pads are more comfortable and breathable, and are free from harmful chemicals. They are easy to wash and dry, and can be reused many times, typically replacing between 100-200 disposable pads in their lifetime. They can save a menstruating person thousands of dollars over their lifetime.
