Ladyfest Alterna-Menstrual Workshop
Join like minded ladies to discuss and learn about alternative menstrual products. Better for your body, earth, and pocket book, this stuff isn't what your grandma used. Everyday young, hip women are discovering alternative menstrual products and asking "Why didn't anyone tell me about them before!?"

Ladyfest Northern Michigan exists to celebrate the creativity, strength, and wisdom of women through art, music, film, and various workshops. Ladyfest is a cooperatively organized grassroots festival with a focus on empowerment through the acknowledgment of women's often overlooked contributions. Everyone, women and men, are welcome to help plan as well as come to the event. Ladyfest Northern Michigan will take place October 24, 25, and 26, 2008 at the Inside Out Gallery in Traverse City, MI.
Prices are $15 for Friday, $15 for Saturday, and $20 for Sunday at the door. A three day pass is $30. They're cheaper for students and those who grab them in advance. Proceeds are going to the Northern Michigan Women's Resource Center.
